【What Are BIMI and VMC?】
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification)
BIMI is a standard that allows organizations to display their official corporate logo next to authenticated emails in the recipient’s inbox. It helps users easily identify legitimate messages and builds brand trust at a glance.
VMC (Verified Mark Certificate)
VMC is a digital certificate that proves the ownership and authenticity of a company’s logo used in BIMI. Issued by a trusted certificate authority, VMC ensures that only verified organizations can display their brand logos in emails.
Together, BIMI + VMC strengthen email security and improve visibility by making it easy for recipients to verify the sender, reducing the risk of phishing and spoofing attacks.
