[Background of Support for "FLET'S Hikari Cross Biz"]

"GMO BIZ Access" is a corporate communication service provided by GMO Internet, Inc., which has over 20 years of experience in ISP operations. We offer high-quality lines, providers, Wi-Fi access points, and routers at optimal prices, and have received strong support from many customers. In business use, the demand for high-capacity internet connections continues to grow, with over 80% of companies using cloud services as of 2023 (※1) , creating a need for even higher-quality services.
Against this backdrop, on June 3, 2025 (Tuesday), NTT East and West announced the launch of a new high-speed, high-quality corporate optical broadband service, "FLET'S Hikari Cross Biz" (※2) . GMO Internet provides the IPoE (IP over Ethernet) service "v6 Plus", which uses the Next Generation Network (NGN) offered by NTT East and West as the access line. By using our communication services, customers can fully leverage the performance of "FLET'S Hikari Cross Biz," which led us to decide to support it through "GMO BIZ Access."
Details such as the service launch timing and pricing will be announced as soon as they are determined.

[About "FLET'S Hikari Cross Biz"]

"FLET'S Hikari Cross Biz," provided by NTT East and NTT West, is an optical broadband service that offers a maximum communication speed of approximately 10 Gbps for both upstream and downstream (※3) , along with secured bandwidth of 10 Mbps in both directions, enabling more stable usage.
In addition, it provides a fault recovery SLA (Service Level Agreement) of 99.99% and includes a support system with a guaranteed on-site response within 24 hours in the event of unexpected failures, allowing customers to use the service with greater peace of mind.

(※3) “Maximum communication speed of approximately 10 Gbps” refers to the maximum value based on technical standards and does not indicate actual communication speeds. Due to the addition of data necessary for maintaining communication quality under this standard, the actual maximum communication speed is typically reduced by around 10% to 20% compared to the technical maximum. Furthermore, speeds may decrease significantly depending on the customer’s usage environment (such as device specifications) and network congestion conditions.
