AI image generation service “ConoHa AI Canvas” becomes the first domestic cloud provider to launch “ComfyUI”

GMO Internet, Inc. (President and Chief Executive Officer: Tadashi Ito; hereinafter “GMO Internet”), a member of GMO Internet Group, Inc., will begin offering “ComfyUI” as a newly available WebUI (*1) for its AI image generation service “ConoHa AI Canvas” (URL: https://www.conoha.jp/ai/canvas/
) from Thursday, March 13, 2025, becoming the first domestic cloud provider to do so (*2).

“ConoHa AI Canvas” is a service that allows users to easily utilize Stability AI’s latest image generation AI, “Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL),” directly from a web browser. With the introduction of “ComfyUI,” users can visually arrange and combine various functions required for image generation to build workflows, enabling a highly flexible AI image creation experience.

In addition, “ConoHa AI Canvas” revised its pricing plans starting Saturday, March 1, 2025 (*3), to make advanced AI image generation services more accessible to a wider audience. The entry plan, priced at 1,100 yen per month (tax included), allows up to 10 hours of WebUI usage, and higher-tier plans are also available for longer usage depending on user needs. (For details, please refer to the pricing plans below.)

As a result, users ranging from beginners to advanced creators can choose their preferred WebUI and pricing plan according to their needs, enabling a more comfortable and flexible AI image generation environment.

[About “ComfyUI”]

“ComfyUI” is a visual GUI (*4) tool that allows users to easily operate “Stable Diffusion.” It features an interface where each function required for image generation is represented as a block called a “node,” and these blocks are visually arranged and connected with lines. This makes it possible to organize complex image generation processes visually and execute settings and generation intuitively.

Normally, using “ComfyUI” requires downloading it from GitHub (*5) to your own PC and performing installation and setup. However, with “ConoHa AI Canvas,” it can be used easily through a web browser without any installation.

[Background of Providing “ComfyUI”]

Since its release on August 1, 2024, “ConoHa AI Canvas” has adopted “AUTOMATIC1111” (*6) as its WebUI, providing an environment where anyone can easily enjoy image generation without installation, using only a web browser. On the other hand, the use of “ComfyUI” has been rapidly expanding due to its quick support for the latest technologies and its ability to easily share settings. In response to these needs, “ConoHa AI Canvas” now supports “ComfyUI” in addition to “AUTOMATIC1111,” allowing users—from beginners to advanced users—to choose the most suitable WebUI and enjoy a more convenient AI image generation experience.
