Usage of Trademarks
Our logo marks and graphical marks may not be altered, modified, appended, or removed in any way unless a separate agreement has been concluded with our Company. Trademarks used for our Products, etc. must always be used consistently, including spelling, hyphens, and other formatting.
Specifically, the following types of usage are prohibited:
- Using trademarks as generic or descriptive terms
- Changing trademarks into plural forms or possessive cases
- Combining trademarks with other words, symbols, or numbers
- Displaying trademarks as a single word by merging them with other words or connecting them with hyphens
- Omitting parts of trademarks when displaying them
- Displaying uppercase trademarks in lowercase
Trademark Symbols
When displaying our trademarks in any medium, in principle, please attach the ® or ™ symbol (hereinafter referred to as "Trademark Symbols") to the first occurrence of the trademark in the text. However, if the trademark appears in an important context, attach the Trademark Symbol to the occurrence in that important section. For trademarked logo marks and graphical marks, always attach a Trademark Symbol.
The ® symbol should be used for trademarks registered with the relevant patent office or authorized government agency of the respective country. The ™ symbol should be used for unregistered trademarks. Do not use the ® symbol for trademarks that are not registered.
Trademark rights are established on a country-by-country basis. In some countries, improper use of the registration symbol may lead to severe criminal or civil penalties. Before using the ® symbol, always verify whether the trademark is registered in the country where it will be used. If you are unsure of the registration status, please contact us.
Trademark Symbols should be displayed as superscripts or subscripts relative to the trademark. However, if superscript or subscript display is not possible, the symbols (TM), (SM), or (R) may be used in parentheses.
