Article 1 (General Provisions)
GMO Internet, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes these AI Customer Service Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") for the provision of "AI Customer Service" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). All customers who use the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall do so upon agreeing to these Terms.
The Company may change the contents of these Terms without obtaining the User's consent, and the revised Terms shall take effect at the time they are announced on the Company's website or other relevant channels.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:
"The Service" refers to the AI-powered customer support function provided by the Company. The details, scope, and other aspects of the Service shall be separately determined by the Company.
"User" refers to a corporation or individual who utilizes the Service.
"AI" refers to the artificial intelligence technology used in the Service, including but not limited to large-scale language models and other related technologies based on machine learning techniques, including natural language processing.
"AI Terms of Use" refers to the terms and conditions related to the AI used in the Service, including but not limited to the terms of use, license agreements, and other relevant agreements set forth by the AI provider.
Article 3 (Compliance with AI Terms of Use and Data Transmission)
Users shall comply with these Terms as well as the AI Terms of Use when using the Service.
Users shall be deemed to have agreed to the AI Terms of Use upon sending their consent through the Service or upon using the Service.
Users acknowledge in advance that the information they send to the AI through the Service may be transmitted to and stored by the AI provider. However, such information will not be used by the AI provider for machine learning purposes.
Users shall be solely responsible for determining the content and timing of the information they transmit to the AI through the Service.
Article 4 (Collection and Use of Data)
The Company may collect and analyze information transmitted by Users to the AI through the Service, as well as the AI's responses, for the purpose of improving the quality of the Company's customer support, including but not limited to training large-scale language models built in the Company's local environment.
Article 5 (Disclaimer)
The Company makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of the Service, including the AI's responses.
Users understand and accept that the responses obtained through the use of the Service may not be complete.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users in connection with delays, modifications, suspension, or termination of the Service, or for the leakage or loss of information provided through the Service, or any other issues related to the use of the Service.
The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice.
Article 6 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
